Ingredients

1/2 stick of butter
2/3 cup brown sugar
2 cups soft bread crumbs
1 10 ½ oz can of tomato puree
1/4 cup water
1/4 teaspoon salt

Directions

Melt butter, pour over bread and toss. Heat the tomato puree, water, salt and brown sugar. Simmer 5 minutes, then pour over bread crumbs. Toss. Bake in a 1 ½ covered casserole for 45 minutes.
